Goodbye 2009, Hello Future!

Happy New Year from everyone here at AMR Management Services!

The beginning of a New Year is always a great time to reflect on the past and dream about what could become of the future.

It’s remarkable what we as people and organizations can learn from looking back at our past successes and even our past failures. ASAE recently did a decade in review on their highly popular Acronym blog, delving into what has changed since Y2K. At AMR, it’s exciting to see the growth that our clients have achieved in the past 10 years, and we look forward to seeing it continue into the next 10 years and even further down the road.

As an association entering the 2nd decade of the new millennium, what do you imagine your organization will look like in the next 5, 10, or 20 years?

Last year, ASAE & the Center released a study highlighting 50 key trends and challenges in our world that will impact the association industry in the next few years. Some highlights include the impact of globalization in the economy, the changing generations and leadership under Gen X and Gen Y, and of course the impact that our ever-evolving technology will change the way we communicate and operate.

What trends do you think will impact your association down the road? What trends do you feel are impacting your association now?
