AMR uses generative AI tools to support some of the work we publish on this site. We think you should know where and how.

## Where we use it

Written content
We use AI tools to help draft and edit articles on this blog outlining, first drafts, tightening language, suggesting headlines. AI assistance varies by post: some are written entirely by our team, some
begin as an AI draft that we rewrite substantially.

Imagery
Some illustrations and graphics on this site begin as AI-generated images, which our designers then edit, composite, and finish.

Research and summarization
We use AI tools internally to summarize sources and organize research that informs our writing.

Where we don't

We do not use AI tools to make decisions about people, and we do not put client-confidential information, member personal data, or credentials into public AI tools.

Human review

Every article published on this site is reviewed by a member of our team before it goes live. A person — not a tool — is accountable for the accuracy, tone, and substance of what we publish. AI drafts what we ask it to; we
decide what's worth publishing.
