I have had the best career path ever all because of associations! From the beginning, I found an industry that made me feel valued; especially as a female. I truly believe that associations provide a valuable space for professionals to connect, grow and learn from one another. I love being part of that community and knowing that I contribute to the development of people who are passionate about their association. It means so much to see a small group come together to realize their strategic goals and grow personally and professionally from the experience. The sense of accomplishment from getting through a “crisis”, an important conference, or launching a new program, product, or service keeps me going every day.
